There’s a traditional image of dads being the bread winner, disciplinarian and/or authority figure; we often neglect that they can also be intimate, present and compassionate (in their own little way). This stereotype means fathers don’t always enjoy the glow of intimacy and admiration we give our mothers- some homes celebrate two Mothers Day but have no clue when Father’s Day is!
So here we are campaigning for our amazing dads! On the 20th of June, we need to give fathers more praise than they get on a normal day; we need to let them know that we see them and we appreciate all they do.
Most importantly, let us use this opportunity to check in on friends who have lost their fathers or have strained relationships with their dads. It is a hard day for them, and we all need as much support as we can get right now.

Wallet: getting him something to hold onto when it comes to handling his cash is a great way to tell him he’s appreciated. A wallet is a powerful symbol. It is a symbol of wealth and success because it carries money. Therefore, when you gift your father or husband with a wallet, it translates to you wishing them blessings of more money and success. For a personalised touch, this can also be customised.
Wristwatch:Who can say no to accessories? Definitely not our men, gifting him a watch can portray so many things to him, it can be you saying thank you for all the time you spent with us as a family. When you give someone a watch you gift them the gift of time.
Socks: A pair of socks are practical and meaningful and men can never really have too many. Socks might seem small and insignificant, but they’re a nice reminder of the thoughtfulness of a simple and useful gift. As a gift-giver, it feels wonderful to know you’re adding value to a loved one’s daily routine!
Spa Vouchers:Spa vouchers are the most flexible way to enjoy a spa treatment or package. Rather than booking a specific package at a certain spa for a defined date, you can purchase a voucher and then redeem it when you’re ready for your session.
Deep Tissue Cordless Neck Massager: A Neck Massager can reduce stress and pain naturally; it helps loosen stiff muscles after a long day. If a dad is in need of true relaxation to melt away built up tension, this could be a perfect gift and an alternative to a massage therapy session.
The Gift Fairy Gift Card: this is a perfect gift of choice for the recipient to pick and buy whatever they want. The dilemma of finding an appropriate gift has struck everyone at some point. This freedom allows them to buy what they truly need, and it gives you the satisfaction of knowing that they have been gifted well. To avoid problems like this, purchase a Gift Fairy Gift Card for Father’s Day.
Breakfast Tray: There is no sweeter way to kick start dad's special day, than with a lovely prepared breakfast. Treat dad to a delicious food platter this Father's Day.
Fragrance or Grooming Giftset: What better way to show him appreciation than by gifting dad a bottle of his favourite fragrance or grooming set. You can take it an extra notch by including an engraved message in the bottle
Dad “personalised” gifts: there are other ‘dad’ items that can show how thoughtful you are when getting gifts. These items include:
We also have a range of precurated gift packages for those who want to give their dad's a gift on the go.
Even if your father, grandfather, husband, godfather is grumpy, opinionated and distant- shower him with lots of attention, praise and acknowledgement. Trust us, he will love it!
